Terms of Service

Adding an item to your bag isn't an order. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm your order has been accepted. If we can't fulfil it — for example the item has sold out, or we spot a pricing error — we'll tell you and refund you in full.

You need to be 18 or over to place an order. Please check your delivery address carefully; we can only change it before the parcel is dispatched.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.

We take payment by card, Klarna or Clearpay through Stripe. Klarna and Clearpay are provided by those companies under their own terms and eligibility checks — we don't decide whether you're approved.

We try hard to price everything correctly. If an item is obviously mispriced we'll contact you before dispatch and you can confirm at the right price or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by the carrier. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us. Full options and costs are on our delivery & returns page.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, and return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We go further than that: we accept returns for 30 days on unworn items with tags and the hygiene strip intact.

Hygiene exception: for health-protection reasons, swimwear and underwear can't be returned once the hygiene strip has been removed. Please try items on over your own underwear.

To cancel, start it from your account — pick the items from the order and we'll do the rest. Emailing us with your order number works just as well; any clear statement will do. See how to cancel. You don't have to give a reason.

Return postage is arranged by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered — in which case we cover it. Refunds are made to your original payment method, and cover the price of the items plus the standard delivery you were charged, within 14 days of us receiving the goods back. If items come back showing more handling than you would have given them in a shop, we may reduce the refund to reflect that.

Gift cards and donated (Give a Set) items are non-refundable once the order is confirmed.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something arrives faulty, email us with your order number and a photo and we'll sort a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Donated sets and monetary donations go to children in need rather than being shipped to you, and are non-refundable once the order is confirmed. We'll publish our charity partner's details here as soon as that partnership is finalised. Donation totals shown on the site reflect contributions made through the shop.

Keep your account password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

Reviews should be honest and your own experience. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or that misrepresents a purchase, and we may suspend accounts that misuse the shop.

The designs, photography, text and branding on this site belong to Fruity & Frilly. You're welcome to share our pages; please don't copy our images or copy for commercial use without asking.

We may update these terms — the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
